Near Gatten Farm is a marquee wedding venue situated approximately 10 miles outside of Shrewsbury, with the rustic charm and tranquil setting nestled in the Shropshire hills where better to spend the most memorable and magical day of your life.

With so many photographic opportunities both on the farm and in the surrounding countryside you will not be disappointed. The venue itself offers a beautiful fishing pool with the Longmynd as a backdrop and the other side the Stiperstones both locations that you can be whisked away to for more intimate photos of yourselves.

With two weddings already this year, and one more still to go, the venue is proving to be very popular.

Both weddings so far have been quite different with the first more of a festival style with different stages with bands playing, and the other more traditional with a twist.

The next wedding we have booked will be during our annual music festival with the bride and groom partying and enjoying the music on the Friday as a combined Hen and Stag do, then on the Saturday they will come together on the main stage to say there vows before the bands start all over agin

We now have no more weddings for this year, however our first year has gone off with a bang, 3 weddings done with one been held at our annual music festival with a large crowd, one wedding was just the reception with a ceremony they had organised them selves which was a beautiful relaxed event with loads going on and the last couple had the full event with ceremony on the stage.

We are now looking forward to next year with a couple of weddings already booked and some people who have been to have a look, our dates are booking up fast so if you would like to come and have a look please get in touch for a viewing.

The venue, a field on the farm has been recently landscaped to make the most of the surroundings with the area overlooking the fishing pool large enough for the marquee to sit and then stepped down so as to have seating for time to relax and take in the view.
